In recent years,John Agnew and Stuart Corbridge blended from Marxian economy and anti-textualist critical geopolitics. Moreover they put forward to offering more comprehensive historical and materialistic theory of modern geopolitics. According to them geopolitical order is always conceived in terms of space and time and it can not be conceived without a hegemon. Agnew defined three major geopolitic orders and these orders related with three discourse. The first is British geopolitical order ,and it related with civilizational geopolitics.

The second order is Inter-imperial rivalry : , and it related with naturalized geopolitics.

The third is Cold War geopolitic order: and it related with ideological geopolitics. The fourth is not completed yet but Agnew mentioned it: Transnational Liberalism: ? On the other hand Agnew has identified four major characteristics of modern geopolitical imaginations. The modern geopolitical imagination is a legacy of the imposition of European territorial forms across the globe from the sixteenth century. World is changing,technological developments and speed of information has increased.

Naturally these impacts broght the end of the modern geopolitics. Within this framework,economical globalization will be determinant replace from modern geopolitics.

Connectivity and network started to means distance and proximity unit. According to these changings,some differences has emerged between modern geopolitics and post-modern geopolitics. For example,cartographig visualization in modern politics give place to telemetrical visualization in post-modern geopolitics. Also domestic and external distinction give way to glocalization. Hardware ascendent give way to software ascendent. States and leaders give place to networks and cyborgs. Fixed and rigid posture give place to flexible and rapid response.
